Erkules & Iron Fist: Cilento puts on the Boxing Gloves

A land of centuries-old traditions and breathtaking landscapes, where the horizon is divided between the blue of the sea and the green of the olive trees, for the youth of Cilento, the sporting choice has often been limited to one option: soccer. With approximately 150,000 inhabitants scattered across marvelous but sometimes isolated villages, the culture of the beautiful game has dominated for decades. But today, a new collaboration is proving that roots are not a limitation, but a springboard. The collaboration between Erkules and the Iron Fist Academy gym was born from the desire to offer a real alternative, by bringing boxing and kickboxing to the area. These sports not only offer excellent athletic preparation but teach young people something that is often missing on the grass pitch: the management of individual conflict, the ironclad discipline of the ring, and, above all, profound respect for one's opponent.

A Sporting Hub in the Heart of the Territory

Founded just two years ago, the Iron Fist Academy gym has become a point of reference under the expert guidance of Master Domenico Di Santi. In an area where combat sports gyms can be counted on the fingers of one hand and are located in the major Cilento centers — such as Vallo della Lucania, Sapri or Agropoli — the Iron Fist Academy seeks through its presence to bridge a geographical and social gap.

Erkules: An Alliance for the Territory

Why did Erkules decide to take the field (or rather, the ring) with Iron Fist? The answer is simple: a sharing of values. As manufacturers of technical equipment, we felt the duty and pride to support a business from our own land.

Cilento needs diversity. Not all kids are made to chase a ball for ninety minutes, and many seek a challenge that is more introspective, more intense, or simply different. The collaboration between these two entities aims to:
